U.S. Tournaments

Hi guys! I am back from the US Masters tournaments. It was a long stay for me as I am not feeling too comfortable in that country. Indian Wells is a well-organized tournament in the desert which is in some way nice and interesting. I met some new friends there so the time was going fast. I lost in the second round to Robredo, a tough 3-setter which I was supposed to win, at least I had a lot of chances to do so. But Robredo fooled me around; he pretended that he was injured and the he couldn't run, and then suddenly he started to run all over the place. Well, I can't say anything, he just played better, but also cheated.

After that I moved to Miami to play a challenger event at Sunrise (instead of practising in Indian Wells I moved closer to Key Biscayne). As you know, I was not so successful there (lost to Stepanek in the first round). So finally I was preparing myself for Miami Masters, I had some good time to do so and I believed I was ready. I won first two rounds (beat Hajek and Benneteau) and in the third round I lost to Roddick 6-2, 6-1. I was playing poorly. I had 36% of first serve in during the whole match. Well, maybe I was not ready for him, but next time I will give a bigger fight. At the moment, I am practicing in Bratislava and getting ready for clay. I pulled out of Casablanca today (I have to get fit before clay and rushing to Morocco is not the best option; the otherfactor is that I am tired to be honest, very tired).

So I wish everyone a very HAPPY EASTER!!! And great holidays!!!
