The 26-year-old Slovak prevailed in a tie-breaker 8-6. Stako was broken once in the second set which brought his singles campaign at the ATP 250 event to an end. The comeback seemed truly on with the world No.195 serving for the fourth set only to surrender three straight games to his opponent as Stakhovsky completed a 63 63 67(8) 75 victory.
