2014 Tashkent Challenger second seed Sergiy earned a spot in the event's final by edging fourth-seeded Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 7-6 (5), 6-4 in one hour and 35 minutes on Friday.
The Kiev native broke three times from five opportunities and saved 10 of the 12 break points he faced. Stako was 2-5 down in the opening set tie-breaker, but managed to turn it around and take it 7-5, winning five games in a row.

No.2 seed Sergiy rallied from a set and a break down to beat world no.346 Anton Zaitcev of Russia in quarter-final action at the Tashkent Challenger on Thursday.
Stako won 85% of his first service points and hit 11 aces in the one hour, 51-minute match.
Zaitcev broke once in the opening set to take it 6-4. The Russian continued putting pressure on the Kiev native in the second set. He was a break up, but Sergiy managed to regain his composure. The world no.72 broke twice to seal the set 7-5. One break in the deciding third set was enough for Sergiy to close the match 6-4.
He will take on ATP #80 Adrian Mannarino of France in Friday's semi-final.
