Roland Garros 2013

Stako created a big media explosion during his first match at the Roland Garros. He received a warning after he used his cell phone to take a picture of a disputed ball mark during a first set of his 6-1,6-4,6-3 loss to No 7 Richard Gasquet in the first round of the French Open. Stako argued that the ball was in but the empire disagreed, ruling it was out. Stako quickly grabbed his phone and took a photo of the disputed mark and received a warning from the chair empire.  This news was in the media all around the world by reporting this incident and creating a great PR to Sergiy.
